Senior Physiotherapist - Women's Health

BSc (HONS)

APA & WHTA Member

Advanced Postgraduate Level 3

After completing her studies at King’s College London (UK) in 2014, Emily relocated to Australia in 2021 to pursue her career as a physiotherapist. Starting out in the UK public healthcare system, she later transitioned to private practice, where her passion for Women’s Health Physiotherapy flourished.

With over 9 years of experience, Emily is not only a proficient Pelvic Health Physiotherapist but also extensive expertise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy across both public and private healthcare sectors. Her primary goal is to empower and educate women on their individual journeys, utilising a patient-centered and customised approach to help them achieve their objectives.

In close collaboration with various healthcare professionals, including Specialists and GPs throughout the Sunshine Coast, Emily ensures that every patient receives exceptional care, aiming to support them in attaining their highest levels of well-being and fulfilment.

Emily is deeply committed to assisting women in maintaining their sense of identity and autonomy during significant life transitions, whether it involves navigating pre and postnatal experiences, managing menopausal changes, or addressing pelvic pain issues. Guided by an evidence-based and compassionate approach, she strives to empower women to take control of their symptoms and lead fulfilling lives.

Emily has recently embarked on the journey of motherhood. Juggling parenting, having two wonderful dogs, being a wife, and continuing to support women on their own pelvic health journeys has shaped Emily's compassion and understanding of the busy lives many women lead, resulting in her approach being practical, goal-orientated and impactful.

Outside of her professional environment, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, going to the beach and packing up the ute for camping weekends!
